Does the disappearance of the printed newspaper at the end of the quality of journalism? The state must save the press? Do we need a public newspaper? Are blogs, Twitter and Google serious competition for professional journalism - or make it a useful addition? Can journalism on the Internet to reinvent?
The media are facing a new era: During a newspaper title in the U.S. set a time and even Qualitaetsblaetter as the New York Times advised to fishtail, is growing in Germany, the fear. An abandoned display market conditions in free fall and a rapid change are Zeitungshaeuser media use before the question of how they can continue to fund journalism. In view of the election, one might question how newspapers can afford their role as leading media and still win the alternative forms of public communication and actors in importance.
